Cheesy Poem...Brace Yourself

I was inspired to write this during class on a very boring morning. Para sa first and hopefully last crush ko sa Arellano Law School.

June Purple Vines

So quiet and meek; alone again you waited.
I almost walked over; “hello,” I almost said.
But I didn’t come near you; I didn’t even look.
Anyway, there you are, buried in that book.

The lights go out again; I can only see you from the corner of my eye.
I wonder if you noticed me at all; then later I just sighed.
No, of course, you haven’t, I know that well enough.
You have seen me, yes, but notice? What ridiculous stuff.

And then words are said out loud; they don’t affect you at all.
I steal a glimpse of you, enough to make me fall.
Deep in my heart I keep you, a place where no one knows,
In my mind you wander, where thoughts of you flows.

Contented, I shall be, though I cannot hold you now.
The dreams of you here in me will not bring me down.
So if you’re my impossible dream, then let it be.
I need nothing more than imagine you’re with me.
